All parents wish for their children to be happy. In an uncertain and busy world, children and parents need a place to go together to learn how to develop harmony, confidence and methods to help calm our minds and strengthen our families. These classes offer a simple introduction to Buddha’s teachings, emphasizing kindness, respect for others and keeping a happy heart.
Classes include brief prayers, teaching, meditation, and an art project. Appropriate for children ages 8-10 years. Children under 8 years must be accompanied by a parent. Parents are welcome to either attend the class with their child or attend the adult program, Prayers for World Peace.
Registration: $3 donation per child.

When you register please let us know how many children you are bringing and their ages.
Location: Clear Light Center Buddhist Center, 614 E. Townley Ave Phoenix, AZ 85020. Located two streets south of Dunlap and one street west of 7th Street.

Parent Volunteers: In order for this class to run we need an additional assistant for each class to assist with the children. If you would like to volunteer for any of our classes please email Geron at clearlightbc@gmail.com
Can you help? We are currently renovating the children's meditation room with the following improvements:
1) Taking out the closet to allow more space.
2) Re-painting the room.
3) Putting in a carpet
4) Purchasing a large Buddha statue for the Children's shrine.
