Enjoy a meditation mini retreat for everyone, from beginners to those with more experience of meditation. Discover for yourself the experience of inner peace, joy and positive energy that come from meditating on gratitude. We can often be so focused on what we don’t have, we forget to appreciate and feel grateful for what we already have. Learn how the simple practice of meditating on gratitude enables everyone to fully appreciate life, others and our potential to live a life of genuine happiness, fulfillment and inner purpose. The emphasis will be on how to integrate this new found sense of gratitude and appreciation we learn on the retreat into every aspect of our life: work, family, friends, down-time etc.
In each session Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Tabkay will explain clearly how to engage in the particular meditation and its benefits for our daily life. Then he will guide each meditation, enabling us to gain deep experience of each meditation and its benefits.

ABOUT the teacher
Gen Kelsang Tabkay is a Kadampa Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix. He has been a student of contemporary Buddhist Master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years. Gen Tabkay presents Buddhism and meditation in an accessible and clear way, dedicating himself to bringing peace into the hearts of others.
