Enjoy a weekend of clear and practical Buddhist teachings and guided meditations on loving kindness to open the heart, and increase your inner peace and well being this Summer. Live-streamed directly to us from Chicago by our guest Teacher, Buddhist monk and experienced Kadampa Teacher, Gen Zamling.
Listen to the sessions outdoors in your backyard, in a local park space, or in the quiet of your own home. Transform your weekend into a magical and meaningful meditation retreat experience.
This weekend is our annual ‘Post Summer Festival’ weekend, and the meditations and teachings will follow the themes of the Kadampa International Summer Festival.
The retreat will be AVAILABLE TO VIEW for 72 hours streaming. Each session will be available one hour after the live session. Once you register for the retreat you will get the link for the replays.

ABOUT the teacher
Gen Kelsang Zamling is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Chicago and is a modern Buddhist monk . Gen Zamling has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years, and has taught in the United States and in the UK. Gen Zamling completed an intensive 6 month Special Teacher Training Program with our General Spiritual Director, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, to further his qualifications as a teacher.He is well-loved by his students, and sets an immaculate example of someone who has taken Buddha's teachings to heart. Gen Zamling is known for his practical approach, warmth, and clarity.
