In a world in which hatred, anger, and intolerance are sadly becoming more widespread we need to look not at what sets us apart but at what unites us.
Buddha taught a practical meditation on love anyone can do that increases our appreciation, respect and tolerance for others, be they our friends and family, our community or all humankind, and shows how peace in the world comes only from peace in the heart. This talk will be followed by a 6 week meditation series on developing love with Buddhist monk and Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix, Kelsang Tabkay.

About the Teacher
Gen-la Kelsang Jampa is an internationally renowned, ordained Buddhist teacher and the Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU). He is currently the Resident Teacher at the International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon.
As a senior NKT teacher, Gen-la Jampa has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years, and under Geshe-la's guidance has taught at many centers and events around the world.
Gen-la is well-loved for his clear and inspiring teachings and his ability to touch people’s hearts through his sincerity and loving-kindness.
