with guest Teacher, Gen Kelsang Menla
All mistaken and harmful discrimination arises from ignorance. When our mind is under the influence of ignorance, it is out of control, which means we are out of control; and when we are out of control our actions are not helping. Nowadays, it seems that it’s getting clearer and clearer how ignorance is polluting our minds and society.
Buddha has described how by cultivating wisdom we can establish deep inner peace, kindness, and compassion without discrimination. In this public talk and meditation, visiting Teacher and Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Menla, will guide us in these time tested methods for dislodging discrimination.
