Becoming Buddha - The Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni

with teachings on the Liberating Prayer

December 7-8

with Gen Kelsang Tabkay

$65 whole weekend | $55Saturday only | $10 Lunch - FP & Benefactor Membership Discounts Apply

On this special weekend, Gen Tabkay will grant the blessing empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni and give teachings on Prayers for Meditation and the Liberating Prayer. Through this, we can awaken our spiritual potential and make a special connection to the enlightened founder of Buddhism in this world.

Essential teachings will be given on the tantric self-generation practice of Buddha Shakyamuni, which is a profound and quick method for attaining enlightenment. Gen Tabkay will also give rare commentary to the deeper meaning of the Liberating Prayer and how we can use this to energize our spiritual practice.

An empowerment bestows upon us special blessings that heal our mental continuum and awaken our Buddha nature. It is like a formal guided meditation empowering us with the blessings, inspiration, and energy to transform and engage in the self-generation of Buddha Shakyamuni.

Everyone is welcomed to attend!

“The Liberating Prayer is not an ordinary prayer; it is not a simple prayer. It is like a text. It has profound meaning. Definitely it needs commentary by a Teacher verbally. I can say, few people have an understanding of Liberating Prayer. “

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
