Who is it that you wish to be? From a Buddhist perspective, our happiness depends upon how we are envisioning and relating to ourselves. By using wisdom imagination, we can transform our life in the coming year and beyond into a future of great happiness and benefit.
This special New Year’s Eve event will include a talk with Buddhist monk and Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Tabkay, followed by special prayers and meditation. The blessed prayers will be the Yoga of Buddha Amitayus, an arrangement of powerful prayers for increasing our wisdom, good fortune, and lifespan. Participants will get the most out of the evening by attending the blessing empowerment on December 30th, but it is not required. The prayers and meditation will be followed by hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages. Everyone is welcome!

Gen Kelsang Tabkay
Gen Kelsang Tabkay is a Kadampa Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix. He has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years. Gen Tabkay presents Buddhism and meditation in an accessible and clear way, dedicating himself to bringing peace into the hearts of others.
