In this public talk and meditation, learn simple and practical methods for experiencing true happiness by changing the mind. Make it an evening out! This special event is held on the free day for the Phoenix Art Museum (starting at 3pm). Enjoy the artwork of the museum and then a life-changing meditation and teaching in the museum's main theatre, Whiteman Hall.
ABOUT the teacher
Gen-la Kelsang Jampa is an internationally renowned, ordained Buddhist teacher and the Deputy Spiritual Director of the NKT -IBKU.
As a senior NKT teacher, Gen-la Jampa has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years, and under Geshe-la's guidance has taught at many centers and events around the world. He is currently the resident Teacher at International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon. Gen-la is well-loved for his clear and inspiring teachings and his ability to touch people’s hearts through his sincerity and loving-kindness.
