Taking and giving is a beautiful and profound method to transform our personal problems, our relationships and the world into the very means for experiencing love, joy, compassion and wisdom. This ancient practice brings mental peace and happiness, heals body and mind, increases our spiritual strength and capacity to overcome challenges, and increases our ability to be of benefit to others.

 

Retreat Schedule

Session 1: 10am - 11:15am: The Healing Power of Compassion

Refreshment break: 11:15am - 11:45am

Session 2: 11:45am - 1:00pm: Giving Love

About the Teacher

Kelsang Tabkay is an American Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix.

 

He has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years. Tabkay presents Buddhism and meditation in an accessible and clear way, dedicating himself to bringing peace into the hearts of others.
