Discover the basics of Buddhist Ritual – Half Day Workshop

This practical course is an opportunity to understand the basics of Buddhist ritual practice, which become a structure for quickly transforming our mind into a state of happiness. Kelsang Tabkay will describe the power of setting up a personal shrine and meditation space, the meaning behind the symbols and sacred objects, the practice of water offerings, and prayers. In this workshop, we will learn how to prepare our room, how to set up a shrine, how to prepare for meditation, and the basic prayers and meditations.

Kelsang Tabkay is an American Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix.


He has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years. Tabkay presents Buddhism and meditation in an accessible and clear way, dedicating himself to bringing peace into the hearts of others.
