Many people suffer from feelings of fear and constant anxiety, or are simply overwhelmed by the stress and demands of everyday life. In this half-day workshop, we’ll explore mindfulness methods, meditations, and ways of thinking derived from Buddha’s teachings that will help us to become fearless in the face of adversity, and deal with our negative emotions more confidently and effectively.

ABOUT the teacher

Gen Kelsang Tabkay is a Kadampa Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix. He has been a student of contemporary Buddhist Master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years. Gen Tabkay presents Buddhism and meditation in an accessible and clear way, dedicating himself to bringing peace into the hearts of others.
