The Power to Purify: The blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva with teachings on Oral Instructions of Mahamudra
march 12- 13
live-stream
$60; discounts for monthly members
We generally believe the main sources of our suffering and happiness arise from external things that we have little control over. As a result we experience great frustration, anxiety, anger, and our experience of happiness and peace is fleeting.
Buddha explained that in fact the main sources of our happiness and suffering are within the mind and that by purifying and transforming our mind, we can find the lasting happiness and freedom we long for.
All Buddhas specifically appear in the form of Vajrasattva to purify the minds of living beings. In this special empowerment weekend, we can make a connection with this enlightened being and receive special blessings that heal our mental continuum and awaken our Buddha nature.
This event is led by Gen Kelsang Tabkay, Buddhist monk and Resident Teacher at KMC Phoenix. He will grant the Empowerment and give the commentary. Gen Kelsang Lingpur, Buddhist nun and Resident Teacher at KMC Arizona, will give the Introductory Talk and guide the morning meditation.
“This practice is a scientific method to purify our mind and transform it from an impure mind to a pure mind using Tantric technology.”
