Many people are facing fear, uncertainty, boredom, and disruptions to daily routines with the current Covid-19 situation. It is easy to feel overwhelmed with these difficulties and to feel trapped.
Buddhist psychology offers profound and practical methods that can help us gain freedom from the states of mind that are blocking our peace. In particular, in this series you will learn practiacally how to gain freedom from 6 states of mind that are most damaging to our happiness and mental freedom.

Like so many others, we hope to be able to weather this time of being closed. We will still charge for classes in the hopes that we can stay afloat for the length of the closure. However, if you would like to attend classes but are experiencing financial difficulty due to the current situation, please contact our Admin Director Steven Roussel at to discuss how you can receive the teachings. We do not turn anyone away due to lack of funds.
About the Teacher
Gen Kelsang Tabkay is a Kadampa Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix. He has been a student of contemporary Buddhist Master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 12 years, having received empowerments and lineage blessings directly from him. Gen Tabkay presents Buddhism and meditation in an accessible and clear way, dedicating himself to bringing peace into the hearts of others. He was previously the Education Program Coordinator and Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center South Carolina.
