Every day we remember the extraordinary kindness of Venerable Geshe-la, our Root Guru and Founder of the New Kadampa Tradition.
But on the auspicious day June 4th, at Kadampa centers around the world, with minds of rejoicing and gratitude, we offer him our faith through using the special prayer Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples and reciting our Guru’s name mantra in a retreat.
On June 3rd, late afternoon, there will be an introduction to the retreat.
Everyone is welcome to take part.

ABOUT the teacher
Gen Kelsang Tabkay is a Kadampa Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix. He has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years. Gen Tabkay presents Buddhism and meditation in an accessible and clear way, dedicating himself to bringing peace into the hearts of others.
