ABOUT our classes

Our weekly meditation classes are perfect for beginners as well as those with more experience with meditation and Buddhism. Most classes include a practical teaching on developing inner peace, a guided meditation and questions. We welcome new attendees regardless of religious affiliation, race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender identity, or socioeconomic status.

This series of classes is based on the book How to Transform Your Life by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. It presents a series of Buddhist meditation practices to bring us closer and closer to an experience of inner peace and lasting happiness.

In Buddha’s timeless wisdom we can find a new approach to understanding and healing our anxiety. One that is based on deeper insight into the nature and function of the mind. By better understanding our own mind it becomes possible to get a handle on our emotions and navigate our feelings more skillfully.

As we ring in 2022, what a perfect time to reflect, heal, and grow. Join us as we learn 4 meditations that will help us create a fresh start, a relaxed mind, and a brand new 'you'.

A brief introduction followed by a guided meditation to let go of negativity, heal your mind, and infuse the rest of your day with peace and inspiration.
