Gen Kelsang Tabkay

Resident Teacher

Gen Kelsang Tabkay is a Kadampa Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix. He has been a student of  Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche since 2007, having received empowerments and lineage blessings directly from him. Gen Tabkay presents Buddhism and meditation in an accessible and clear way, dedicating himself to bringing peace into the hearts of others. He was previously the Education Program Coordinator and Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center South Carolina.

Michelle Bales is both the Foundation Program Coordinator and Kids Program Teacher here at KMC Phoenix. She has been studying and practicing at KMC Phoenix since 2010 and is known for her joyful and steadfast approach to meditation and practice. Michelle is a welcoming and kind-hearted presence at KMC Phoenix.

Geronimo Esparza has been studying and practicing at  Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix since 2009 and is currently studying on the Teacher Training Program. Geron teaches various weekend courses and is the Meditation for Kids Class Coordinator. He is known for his love of Dharma, his lighthearted approach, and deep understanding of how to get our practitioners to take Meditation and Dharma into their daily life.

Andy Peters is a student of the Foundation Program at Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix for many years. He is a warm-hearted and dedicated member of the spiritual community and shows a good example to others. Andy is known for his sincerity, warmth and practical knowledge of Buddhist teachings. Andy teaches our branch class in Mesa on Thursday nights.
