Please note this class is livestream only online; in person classes are canceled until further notice

How do we improve our own life? How do we improve the lives of others? How do we make the world a better place? We can do this through becoming more enlightened. Enlightenment is the highest and most meaningful goal of human life and is therefore the very purpose of human life. But what is enlightenment and how is it relevant to everyday life?

In this series of Sunday morning meditations and teachings, Gen Tabkay will help us understand how enlightenment isn't esoteric but entirely practical. By learning to transform our mind and daily activities in a meaningful way, we can transform our life into the path to enlightenment, bringing happiness to ourselves and those around us. Each class includes a relaxing breathing meditation, a teaching, a contemplative meditation, and a closing dedication.

The current series topic will be exploring a series of meditations from The New Meditation Handbook by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and can be purchased here for those wishing to follow along. Another book used for the class, How to Transform Your Life can be downloaded freely here.  Each class can be attended individually, no need to attend the entire series.
