Every living being has the same basic wish – to be happy and to avoid suffering. But how are we able to do this, when life can be so difficult at times? Can our problems, obstacles, fears and frustrations themselves be fuel for our growth and development?
Buddha teaches that in order to change our world, we first have to change our mind. Contained within Buddha’s teachings is a special set of instructions called Lojong, or Training the Mind, which show us How to transform whatever circumstances we meet, whether good or bad, into opportunities for spiritual growth. Come and enjoy learning how to surf through life’s waves with skill and joy!
