In this meditation series on overcoming distractions, we will explore the power of concentration to keep our minds focused on the virtuous object of compassion. By mastering the art of concentration, using the object of compassion, we can effectively ward off distractions that threaten to hinder our path to a meaningful life. With a clear and focused mind, we have the ability to unlock our full potential and achieve our goals with unwavering determination.

We are all too familiar with the conflicts and chaos that seem to permeate the world around us. It's easy to feel overwhelmed, stressed, and discouraged by all that we see and hear. In this series we will gain inspiration from the teachings of the Great Meditation Master Geshe Langri Tangpa, through this we will learn to change our perspective and transform our minds. By improving the capacity of our mind, we have the power to see the world more profoundly, to become a beacon of light, making it a better place for ourselves and each other.

About the Teacher

Geronimo Esparza has been studying and practicing at KMC Phoenix since 2009 and is currently studying on the Teacher Training Program. He is known for his love of Dharma, his lighthearted approach, and deep understanding of how to help practitioners incorporate meditation into their daily life.

Geronimo is on retreat until end of February when he will resume teaching this class.
