Gen Kelsang Chenma 

Resident Teacher

Gen Kelsang Chenma is the Resident Teacher at KMC Phoenix. She was ordained by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in 2004 and has been studying and practicing Kadam Dharma for over 25 years. She is dedicated to helping others discover the benefits of meditation and the teachings of Buddha. Her teaching style is down to earth and practical and shows us how to apply these teachings in our daily lives to improve our happiness, wisdom and well-being.

Geronimo Esparza has been studying and practicing at KMC Phoenix since 2009 and is currently studying on the Teacher Training  Program. He is known for his love of Dharma, his lighthearted approach, and deep understanding of how to help practitioners incorporate meditation into their daily life.

Patti Blanco has been a student of Kadampa Buddhism, and a member of Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix, for over 20 years and is currently enrolled in the Teacher Training Program. She is delighted to share her understanding, experience, and love of Dharma with others.

Rob Anderson has been a student of Kadampa Buddhism since 2002, and is currently in the Teacher Training Program. Over the years, Rob has enjoyed learning and teaching how to integrate these teachings into our busy lives.

Rebecca Kendall has been practicing Buddhism since 2007 and discovered Kadampa Buddhism in 2017 at KMC Phoenix and is currently enrolled in the Foundation Program. As a teacher by profession for over 20 years, she is delighted to bridge her spirituality and passion for teaching children as one of the Kids class teachers.

Juli Maher has been a student of Kadampa Buddhism at KMC Phoenix for many years. She is a long time student at KMC Phoenix and is currently enrolled in the Teacher Training Program. Juli enjoys helping to organize and teach the kids class.

​Susan Smith has been studying Buddhist teachings for nearly 30 years and is currently enrolled in the Teacher Training Program.  Susan is passionate about sharing her understanding and personal experience of Dharma with others.  She exemplifies how to practice Buddhism as a layperson in a busy city and presents Buddha’s teachings in a clear, eloquent, and inspiring way
