Every day we remember the extraordinary kindness of Venerable Geshe-la, our Root Guru and Founder of the New Kadampa Tradition.
​
But on the auspicious day June 4th, at Kadampa centers around the world, with minds of rejoicing and gratitude, we offer him our faith through using the special prayer Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples and collecting our Guru’s name mantra in a two-day retreat.

On June 3rd in the evening, there will be an introduction to the retreat.
Everyone is welcome to take part.

ABOUT the teachers

Gen Kelsang Lingpur
Gen Lingpur is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center in Tucson and Phoenix. She has been a student and disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years. Gen Lingpur has been ordained as a Buddhist nun for many years and has taught in the New Kadampa Tradition in Arizona, California, New Mexico and Mexico. Having benefited greatly herself from the study of Buddhadharma, she is happy to give back by sharing her love of Buddha’s teachings. With a down-to-earth style, Gen Lingpur helps us to look at our situation in a new light and to transform negative minds into positive ones.
