Retreat Summary:
This retreat will be self guided as a follow up to our training in concentration course. This silent meditation retreat offers an opportunity to discover a deeper level of meditation that arises through training in meditation in a systematic way over many sessions. By gaining experience with tranquil abiding by meditating repeatedly and consistently, we become inspired and confident in developing a regular meditation practice after retreat. This superior state of peace helps us make progress in our spiritual journey and improves quality of life.
During the Thursday evening teaching, Gen Tabkay will describe the retreat format and explain how to train in meditation and improve concentration. On Friday and Saturday, silence will be maintained throughout the building and grounds.
