Tranquil Abiding Silent Retreat
May 19 - 22
at Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix
Available in person only

In Advice from Atisha's Heart it says:
‘Since this human life is wasted by indulging in distractions, now is the time to practice concentration.’

We all know that concentration is a very useful skill. And if we check in with ourselves, we know we can probably improve our concentration.

This retreat is designed to provide ideal conditions to improve the power of your concentration.

Friday marks the start of the actual retreat. We begin with a teaching given by Gen Tabkay at 7pm followed by seat selection and preparation of our meditation spaces for the morning. On Saturday, there is a short window of time for any final questions before entering into silence prior to Session 2 at 11:30am. Sunday, will slightly vary to accommodate the Sunday General Program class at 10am. Please note, during the Sunday GP class, we will not enforce silence. Please see session times. Monday is the final day of retreat which concludes with a short recap and debrief held by Gen Tabkay.
